I have been working as an actor and performance coach for over twenty years and recently completed a Masters in Film Production with distinction at the University of Hertfordshire.
As a director, I am passionate about creating work that addresses social issues while engaging audiences through exciting storytelling. I am particularly interested in female-led narratives and have recently established Foxglove Femmes Productions, a collaborative network of female-identifying professional crew.
I love working with actors and non-actors alike, and am constantly learning from everyone I collaborate with. It brings me real joy to see people’s confidence grow, and their talent and skill flourish as we work together. I am a strong believer in the importance of connecting fully with your fellow actor(s), exploring ways to put yourself firmly in a character’s shoes, and working to develop an honest and instinctive performance that comes from the heart not the head.
